Exquisite design. Intuitive experiences.
In my Coursera UX Design Certificate journey, I embarked on a transformative project that pushed the boundaries of my design thinking. Through this experience, I learned invaluable lessons about user-centered designs, from conducting thorough research to crafting seamless user interfaces. The project's success is a testament to empathy-driven design. My UX Project was a pivotal learning opportunity, demonstrating the profound influence of design thinking and how it enhances user interactions, leaving me with a newfound expertise and deep passion for creating user-centric solutions.
Through meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to user-centric design principles, I'm transforming the JCC's app into a vibrant digital platform that fosters connection and engagement within the community. While this project serves as a test of my design capabilities, it also holds the potential for future collaboration with the JCC.
This project isn't commissioned or endorsed by the JCC. Instead, it's a personal pursuit driven by my desire to refine and showcase my design skills. Redesigning an app requires a comprehensive understanding of user experience, interface design, and accessibility—all of which are skills I'm eager to hone and demonstrate.
An individual passion project I have been working on for over a year. I started First Fire, a beadwork account and small business showcasing Southeastern Woodlands beadwork and design. Embarking on a journey of beadwork was my heartfelt endeavor to reconnect with my Cherokee heritage and honor the rich traditions of my ancestors. As a proud Cherokee Nation citizen, I weave intricate beadwork to breathe life into authentic pieces that resonate with the spirit of our culture.
A portion of every purchase aids Cherokee Nation initiatives, contributing to the collective well-being of our people.
